Getting out of the house is more important than ever. So I was glad to meet a good friend for a short walk the other day. We met in a part of Amsterdam that is under heavy development today. It was the old site for the gasworks for the southern part of town, it is now a place for apartment buildings for many different needs, restaurants and office spaces. The weather was not ideal, the sky was cloudy and it looked like it could rain at any moment. But, as always, just being out there and taking a few photos in between good conversation is good for the soul.
